In Your Corner with Mayor Avila and Nick Lulli

2023 Priorities

I want to say THANK YOU to all the residents, businessowners, and others who attended the Mayor’s Town Halls. You’ve also called me, emailed me, texted me, and said ‘hi’ when you’ve seen me out in the community. We’ve had great conversations and, after hearing your thoughts, here is the focus for 2023:

Infrastructure

We need to get the resources - whether it’s funding, manpower, or otherwise - to fix and upgrade our infrastructure. Our recent hurricane experiences demonstrated we have our work cut out for us.

Children's Hospital

Help make a Children’s Hospital a reality in Deltona. Our children are the future and deserve top-notch care that’s close to home.

State-of-the-Art Basketball Gymnasium

Improve and upgrade our recreational facilities. I want to identify grant funding in order to open a state-of-the-art gymnasium for youth sports. Kids shouldn’t be turned away from the basketball league, and our staff need adequate facilities in which to work and plan activities.
